This 331 page book is a tribute to all of the military veterans of Hudson, Quebec through four centuries of warfare (18th-21st). It roughly spans the years 1740-2007.

A large portion of the book covers the veterans of World War II. That chapter alone has over 100 photos! One of the more interesting facts about this history is that each chapter includes those men and women who took part in the military campaigns described. Included are chapters on the American War of Independence, the War of 1812, the Fenian Raids, The Relief of Khartoum, The Boer War, World Wars I & II, Korea, Vietnam Bosnia, the Gulf War and Canada’s latest military conflict in Afghanistan. Also covered are those who have served in Peacetime.

Included in this book are numerous stories about various men and women who fought and died for Canada and her allies over the 267 years. For anyone interested in military history, this is a book to have.
